Nikki Lowe: Nongenue

18:30pm

Nikki Lowe: Nongenue is the answer to the question: what happens when the supportive fat friend finally gets her own show? Actress and comedian Nikki Lowe takes audiences on a hilarious and vulnerable exploration into the characters we create for ourselves, the women who shaped us and what our bodies actually have to say about our worth.

A mix of stand-up, storytelling and burlesque comedy, Nongenue challenges society's conception of beauty while stripping away the armoured costumes, caricatures and judgements designed to keep women small. Winner of Best Comedy at the 2021 Down to Clown Festival.
