Red Rum: Glue or Glory

A horse walks into a taxi. The driver tells him he's going to win the Grand National. History is made. From the minds of James Murphy and Ryan Ward, Red Rum: Glue or Glory is the irreverent retelling of a classic British tale of one man and his horse. Gritty, Northern and absurd, the play follows trainer Ginger McCain, a crackpot dreamer, as he steers Red Rum, a spooked racehorse haunted by failure and a debilitating bone disease, towards eternal glory as they embark on the journey of their lives... to Aintree.
