1 Ball Show: 1 More Encore

01-25 AUG 16:50
When Terence Hartnett found out that his testicular cancer had spread to his lung, he got out his notebook and started writing jokes. Two years later, 1 Ball Show has been performed at New York City's Carolines on Broadway, Chicago's Lincoln Lodge and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for sold-out crowds. Chemo sucks and so does losing a lung, but if you can't laugh, you might as well be dead already. 'Highly recommended show!' (FringeReview.co.uk); 'Insightful, emotional and laugh-out-loud funny!' Like Goodfellas, but really dumb. Ben has been heard on BBC Radio, and sold out shows at the Camden, Prague and Edinburgh Fringes. Nominated for two awards at LA's IndieX Film Festival. Ben Goldsmith: CrimeLandTown

01-25 AUG 17:55
CrimeLandTown is an affectionate one-man character comedy spoof of the Italian-American gangster epic. It's a story of a mafia heist, told by a bar singer who always wanted to be a wiseguy, but never made the grade. It's a daft narrative about ambition, failure and Frank Sinatra. Like Goodfellas, but really dumb. Ben has been heard on BBC Radio, and sold out shows at the Camden, Prague and Edinburgh Fringes. Nominated for two awards at LA's IndieX Film Festival. 'Slick, funny. Confident ridiculousness' (TheSpyInTheStalls.com). 'Fantastic... Hilarious' (LitteLarkOfLondon.com).

01-25 AUG 13:05
What happens when a comedian walks into a volcano? In 2023, Ben Miller was the artist-in-residence at Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, the first stand-up comedian ever selected. This was probably a terrible idea on their part. Come watch this show where scientist turned stand-up comedian Ben Miller explores volcanology, entomology, Hawaiian history, cats, cookies and more. And yes that photo is real. Ben has made people laugh in front of a burning lava lake, and he is not afraid of you.
